If he would keep Aranda, I see zero downside to this. You want a cure for 10-0, 21-0, etc or not?

I'm pretty sure there was an article released last Thursday or Friday that disputed such rumors.

why not? I'm itching for offense. Imagine some of our skill players in Kelly's offense.

Not to mention just about the only QBs that give Saban fits are mobile.

Retain Aranda and bring in Kelly? I'd be pumped.

1.) Kelly is a control freak. He would not keep Aranda and Aranda wouldn't stay around for an offense that is going to leave his defense on the field for 90 percent of the game

2.) Kelly is a lazy recruiter. Oregon recruiting itself with its social media attention and uniforms but there's a reason Kelly wanted to be in the NFL so bad, he really hates recruiting

I think it's a little much to just flat out assume he wouldn't retain Aranda. If LSU finishes with a top 5 or even 10 ranking, it'd take a real idiot to not at least try to hang on to him.

1. Aranda's D already stays on the field BC of a 3 and out offense (rewatch Bama game). Doubt a fast-moving, prolific offense would bother him too much (since they'd be doing something novel against good Ds called scoring). How do you know Chip wouldn't keep him?

2. Isn't recruiting why we have BDP? I mean what other function does he have that he even produces at marginally (no BBQ references please)?

I have no idea how to link, I'm a computer dumb arse but I just saw on my trending articles on my Kindle that he was staying at San Francisco.

Aranda would find somewhere else to go. He's smart enough to know that that offense is not conducive to defensive success

People think that offense and defense are completely separate and that you can just hire a high flying OC and match with Aranda and it'll all be great

Offense and defense work cohesively. Kelly always has bad defenses because you keep your defense on the field the entire game. Either by scoring quickly or by going 3-0ut in a heart beat.

LSU put up 40 on one of his best Duck teams several yrs ago. AU beat another good team of his for the N.C. And he's a POS.

Our defense was completely turned over going into that game and we had no Kiko Alonso or Cliff Harris.

Try again.

How many LSU players from that team are in the pros compared to that Oregon team??

LSU loaded with 4-5 star players
How many Ducks were 4 stars? Probably count em on one hand

he may not like it, but if he returns to college I think he'd change his tune on it.

I seriously ask....what the hell is wrong with yall?

Stop comparing oregon teams to top level SEC teams. The talent on defense isn't even close to the same level.

Kelly would wreck shop at LSU
