No fan of the hire, but this is fricking false times a million.
The main criticism is that Orgeron failed at Ole Miss. Strong is failing NOW at the richest school in America. He just lost to Kansas. Texas hasn't lost to Kansas since 1938!

False. That's insane. I hate the hire too, but the man is 11-4 at USC and LSU with some one else's staff and players. Both schools were going through shite show coaching changes. He is a good coach.

Texas just officially announced Charlie Strongs firing! Not like it was in doubt but its official now.

Are you really asking this dumbass question? Strong sucks. That ought to be pretty clear by now.
So does Orgeron. At least Strong has proven to be an elite coordinator.

Even if you leave out Louisville and only count his Texas disaster, Charlie still has a higher winning percentage than O.

Not really
Being an epic failure at Ole Miss is a little more forgivable than being a failure at Texas
For instance, I think Orgeron will be more successful at LSU than Herman would be at Kansas. That's not really indicative of their coaching.

The fact that the argument can be made either way shows how incompetent this hire was
