Would love to keep O as DL coach but he wouldn't be in my top 10 to take over this job and nothing he could do this season would change my mind

I was disappointed when O chose to go with Kiffin to Tennessee when it looked like he was coming to LSU.

This is something that has struck me as odd with the people that say O is purple and gold through and through. I have no doubt he is Louisiana through and through but he has been at odds with LSU on the recruiting trail before he coached here and turned down the school that colors his blood apparently to coach at Tennessee. And I don't think someone who bleeds purple and gold should harbor ill will if a Top HC like Jimbo is hired.

I'm 100% anti-O for head coach.

If he's head coach, I promise you won't be the one pointing and laughing. The rest of the SEC will be.

O is not unknown. In fact we know more about how he would coach at LSU than any other candidate.

We also know how he handles running a program. He's fricking terrible at it.

hey I'm not sure how I ascended to #1 but its a title I'll gladly take

shite I said yesterday I hate running the guy down, but people seemed to have lost rationale when it comes to this.O has done a fine job but he's basically the designated survivor.

I don't see how some of you aren't seeing the differences in being the head man vs. interim.

Miles has some of you so shellshocked that you think not doing retarded shite on offense and modernizing our practices with the rest of the world are revolutionary ideas.

The greatest CFB coach in history coached here and brought us out of our worst decade of existence, won a national title, and set us back up for continued success after he left.

But yeah, maybe the DL coach that no one else wants who won 3 SEC games in 3 years at his only real head coach job will be the best thing to happen to us.

O should be the absolute last resort, that's all.

Bookmarked for 2 weeks from now. For the record I'm pro O recruiting and dline. Anti o as HC.

Also, if O is given the job i would hold off on all your finger pointing and laughing until the end of next year. It could come back and bite you in the arse. Whoever is picked doesn't mean they get guaranteed success or was the right choice. Only time will tell on that.

count me in as anti-O. Be nice to keep him on staff but I doubt that will happen. Aranda should be given the HC title before O. That's if you like winning

This was my original point back when all of this started, look at how well we did with the village idiot leading other idiots(Cameron)

I'd have to think O can do as good as Miles and probably a shite ton better. The guy can recruit, he knows the area and layout, everybody is comfortable with him and he'll kill himself to do well.

well, we hired Nick Saban, who in his 2nd year won our first SEC CG and first SEC title in 13 years, then won the NC for the first time in 45 years and left a deck loaded enough to win another (arguably should have been 2). So do tell how Coach O is going to top that? What in his 20-28 record including 10-3 as a n interim coach at LSU and USC where we manged to win a whole 1 game over a ranked, quality foe (Stanford) while beating a bunch of bad/medicore/over matched teams makes you think he will win multiple championships?

Yep, I guess im "anti-O." Love the guy and think he is a great interim. However I want LSU to go out and hire the most proven HC it can get. O is not that.
