Lane has always up and leaved. It's who he is. LSU knows it, we know it, and one day he'll probably do the same to us. Some people don't like to settle in one spot. We know what we're getting so don't say it's surprising when it happens to us too.

I still feel bad for you guys especially in a playoff run. Doesn't feel right. I think the NCAA needs to change some things around so situations like this can't happen anymore.
I don't think you can simply paint Lane as the villain here either because it's pretty complicated situation. Had the media not leaked details, he probably coaches you guys through the playoffs. I can understand Ole Miss position but it makes Lane look worse when I think it's a little unfair.

Yeah, bs’ing around aside, I made a post very similar on our board a while back. The media blew this up, not Lane. Is he a narcissistic dick bag and could have handled it 10x better? Of course, but he didn’t start this shite storm. He’s been consistent since day one, he’s not going to discuss any coaching rumors until after the season.
