He has been at Oklahoma for 19 years and is an Alum. Make $550k. As a co-OC don’t see us paying much more than that. Maybe he is not liking Lincoln, wonder why he would be interested?

I agree. Could really bring some good elements to our passing game.

Difference in Clemson is that they run the same system and believe in the same Philosophy...that won’t happen here

Not with Orgeron at the helm. Youre correct there.

Dude has a serious resume as a running back coach too. Adrian Peterson, DeMarco Murray, and Samaje Perine.

No it isn’t. Literally everyone on this board has told me its Ensminger. There’s no question as to who the OC will be. I don’t even know why we are waiting around here to see. You and the other three guys with “sources” should just stop posting other names. Not sure why you keep coming here with different names.

"Everyone" is telling you its Ensminger so the guys with sources should stop giving names?

Does this mean the guys who say its Ensminger have sources?

Or do you just like being negative?

This actually floats with what I have heard. I was told there would be a co OC type of position for someone and that Freeze was being highly considered for the job. I guess they figured that wouldn't fly so they moved on to Cale.

I haven't spoken to the person I get my info from in a few days.

Yeah let’s hire a career positions coach who got his first OC job when the real OC (who’s like 13 years younger) took the HC position in the middle of the offseason out of no where.

Well, for the last 48 hours, 99% of this board has done nothing but repeat the same narrative over and over again and telling me it’s Ensminger. Why should I believe anything different?

I hate to say it, but this is right! Just as we could rely on Alleva to male the worst possible choice, you can count on O to do the same. Some people are just born losers!

, if we are taking this long to announce something, it means we are conducting a proper search.

Or Canada isn’t budging on the settlement because he knows LSU doesn’t have shite on him for cause. They can’t announce a hire until the announce the position is open.

This administration doesn’t know the phrase proper search

Even in this thread, I’m being told it’s Ensminger. This thread that has nothing to do with him.

OP is wrong. Everyone else here is right.

There's been 4-5 different meltdowns since Monday. I can't keep up with them all

I have a problem with this logic. Wouldn't it be a really big no-no to announce that a new OC is in place before the current OC's walking papers are ironed out? I mean, in the Grimes situation and many others, the replacement was not announced until it had been publicly made official that the sitting coach had accepted another position or left for whatever reason.

The hold up is not the settlement. If LSU wanted to, it would fire him today and cut him a check in full. They are giving him as much time as possible to find a new job to make everything look nice.

ETA: there is no rush. i fully believe that one of the OC candidates is Sark, meaning we would have to wait out the weekend regardless.

I have been right multiple times.

TigerBait Lawyer has been correct multiple times.

Random got the wrong info on Jimbo, but has since redeemed himself with news about this year.

All of us have done a decent job at revealing what will happen in regards to this shite show.

Not a one of us has just blatantly said it Ensminger. The chances grow by the day, but we still have targets.

Yeah but dont you think there would be a stray tweet or something somewhere that we intend to hire Ensminger?

Thanks for what info you are able to give. I really hope we at least try to pursue Yurcich. And legitimately pursue him, not just a half arse effort to get him. Please tell me the people in charge are not going to promote a TE coach that no other school in the country would call to be their offensive coordinator. Ensminger does just fine with the position he has now.
