I don't understand the holdup. If we have "targets" yet with every day we are closer to hiring Ensminger, are these targets turning us down or are there other issues?
If they are all turning us down then we got a bigger problem at LSU than is being let on.

This search is not easy to get a read on. At all. This hire is make or break for O and Alleva.

Ash. The holdup is Canada leaving. As I said, towards sunday into monday youll start seeing advocate reports on names and whether or not Ensminger is the frontrunner.
Most likely names that we all have dropped for you guys..

Last thing I was told (by someone who I trust and has given me solid info before) was that they were considering Ensminger with a co-OC (and they wanted Freeze). That was Wednesday that I talked to him.
The reasoning for making Freeze co-OC was to avoid the backlash from the media and fans who believe Freeze was a slimeball and behind all of the shenanigans at Ole Miss (which is completely false. Well he is kind of a slimeball, but the major cheating was not his decision. He was basically a "yes man").

If we had had a legitimate shot at getting Kiffen this past year, they probably would have blocked that deal as well. I really hate that we will have to settle for Os 3 or 4 choices.

I really don't get our administration. Let's be honest. It's not like Orgeron has a spotless history. Why are Briles and Freeze so problematic for them?
