And he will do great there because they will draft properly. Panthers will look bad(er) after this plays out.

Not sure how I feel about this. I am not a fan of hiring a coach that has been struggling. I don't have the stats in front of me of past coaches that have struggled with one team, got fired and then went to another team and had success. If I had to guess, it has not work out for the most part.

Did Fox have no control over drafting? You would think coaches would have input in the process.

This will Probably go down as a home run hire by Elway. Great choice for the situation in Denver.
Schottenhimer would have been a great fit there also.

This. I think John Fox is a good coach. He does well with good defensive players and a good RB. This year his RBs were hurt, Peppers was let go and the talent level of Carolina was always in a downward state, including their reliance on one WR the past two years with a aging QB, unproven QB or overrated rookie QB as well.
Problem is, the talent level in Denver isn't that great either since McDaniels sent all the talent packing for little or no compensation. I think Denver has a long way to go to get back to being a good team, although they are in a much easier division than the NFC South.
