I really don't want to see Kelly's offense going up against Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Florida, etc. every week.

Recruiting at ND is just different period.
Some of the allure of ND recruiting are those from Catholic backgrounds wanting to go to a Catholic university or kids who grew up when ND was one of the only schools regularly on TV b/c of their NBC contract.
How much does ND just recruit itself. I'm not saying Kelly is a terrible recruiter, but he isn't a savant either.
