Good call. He’ll be a HC again someday. But with money in the bank, might as well build up some good habits first.

Good to hear

With all that cash, go hire a full time trainer, nutritionist, and a cook

Might not be a bad idea to get the sleeve or thumb stomach procedure

he just got over $10m buyout from Arky. After taxes and agents and so forth he's going to pocket $5m or more. He can afford the year off and he needs it.

he needs a nutritionist to work with him for about a month. he already knows how to exercise from his football days. only thing left is a doctor to rx some testosterone replacement. his is undoubtedly low.

without the stress of coaching, he could lose 100lbs in a year, though that would be a lot. for sure he'll lose 60lbs.

guessing he's about 125lbs heavier now than that skinny pic of him shaking hands with alvarez. he can get back to being skinny in two years.

he'll feel way better within two weeks of starting a diet and exercise program. let the TRT kick in and he'll be an arse kicker pretty soon.

won't be long before he's back in coaching and he has the money to sit and wait. might be the best thing for his marriage and being a father as well.

He already had $8 million. This makes him worth 13. If he invests 13 million at 5%, he gets $650k per year. Taking out 40% for taxes, that leaves $390k per year

This means he can spend $7,500 per week. Realizing that he can GTFO of R-Kansas, and have this kind of income has made him want to live again.

Thus, he will focus on his health.

It doesn't matter how much weight he loses, Arkansas will still be the biggest loser because they are paying him $11,800,000.00

I actually didn't mind seeing him get fatter and fatter. The fatness started in Wisconsin. I mean Wisconsin and Arkansas have to be the two most slovenly states in America. He'd get just as fat if he stayed in Wisconsin. In Wisconsin eating healthier means eating light bologna sandwiches and only four brats for dinner and a small bag of potato chips.

Isn't his wife from Florida?

It would be a major coup if Mullen could get Bielema on his staff as a consultant to watch film. Just pay him a couple grand per week. Give him an office. Let him focus on his health but stay connected to football. After a year he may take on a bigger role.

If coaching has caused stress that ended up putting all that weight on him, a job like UCF or USF or FAU may be perfect for him whenever one of those opens up again.

he needs to forget about football and lose that weight and talk to some professional about his lifestyle choices and figure out how to replace the food with something else.

That's good, because he looked almost as bad as Keith Richards, just a much fatter version of dead.
