Tom is still happily employed by the Bucs and has no experience recruiting

Brady was a flash in the pan that's highly overrated by fans on this board (and the idiot Orgeron).

Probably because he's never been a head coach.

As our offensive coordinator? I doubt he would take a college OC job over an NFL OC job

Things might have changed, but I don’t think Brady Quinn is coaching.

Umm , I’m trying to unpack that comment . It seems to me that if he has a QB ( Howard) and receivers and a versatile back or two he could near- replicate that . It also seems like he could recruit to his system and Louisiana has talent every year .

Yeah let's take that one year OC and make him the HC.

So could countless other OCs with more sustained success than 1 year.

Like I told you in your callout thread after 2019, Burrow made 2019. Orgeron is a terrible HC. It takes a strong man to stand up for truth in an echo chamber of emotional hyperbole. I hope you've come to admit your sins and apologize.

Not happening! Woodward is not going to put this coaching search on the line with someone w/o any head coaching experience! He doesnt want to go back through this in 3 years

Funny how the "flash-in-the-pan" coach got much better when #22 got healthy! Surely you don't believe he's already on a downward spiral? That guy will continue to get better every year and will likely be an HC in the league for many years. He won't be LSU's coach however.

what the actual frick? Damn you sure do nurse a grudge. I’ve never seen a poster get so butt hurt when someone asks him to explain his premise. Slow, I called you out for essentially prematurely renouncing 2019. You fricking deserved it, just like you deserved getting called out in 2007 for saying “ Matt Flynn chugs more cock that’s Jenna Jameson”. If you can’t enjoy the highs, how the frick will you ever deal with the lows? It’s the difference between someone who enjoys his life and you.

I agree that O is a terrible coach and ran the program into the ground and has to go . But can you stay on the subject for once. Tell me about why Brady would fail? He would be on my list - somewhere around 6 or 7.

I don't think he's on a downward spiral I just don't think he was that great in 2019. He brought concepts LSU (especially E) needed for a long time and an approach to the passing game that E simply didn't know. None of that knowledge was particularly special.

Brady is about to get fired and may not get another NFL OC offer for a long time.

The problem with this revision is that I didn't. I said many times prior to 2019 that we had title-worthy talent.

I don't think he's that good and certainly lacks the skins as of now. He may develop over time but he also may be in that "good promoted too quickly too soon" lane of coaching that often ends in disaster. There is a reason he wasn't even a coach on the Saints prior to LSU hiring him. He's got a lot of work to do in developing as a coach to actually be discussed as even an OC option in college right now.

I'll ban bet you on him getting fired. They just hung 34 on one of the top defenses in the NFC. Again, he has been hampered with injuries to key personnel. McCaffrey is back and they will be just fine on offense.

JMO bro but I still think he is an elite offensive mind that who is still really young in the business.
