maybe they should get a scandal on Crowton and make him resign?

Ha, unless having 30 Mormon kids is scandalous, good luck...

personally, with the talent available, i think having the 106th ranked offense is scandalous... FWIW IMO ...

edited to correct spelling....

Gary Crowton has less than 10% chance of returning as OC at LSU despite what Belowpar or anyone else thinks.

Gonzales was hired to take over the OC spot. Robinson will go to the NFL, CM hire a QB coach and Yano coaches tight ends and special teams.

Not sure about Studs, but may stay with Gonzales since they worked together at Bowling Green.

Studs problem was the OC and lack of offensive identity. He's a good OL coach, but personally have no problem if he leaves.

Yeah, you're going to need some e-cred before you come in here trumping BP.

I'd love to believe you, but right now, I have absolutely no reason to.

And if one year necessarily followed the other, LSU would have scored record points per game.

Its one bad year. One with a poor offensive line and a 19 y/o qb.

I'm not "happy" with Crowton. I'm just not out of my mind with doom and dismay.

Yeah, but BP never said Crowton was staying. He just said it doesn't seem as sure as once thought. I just think BP has heard some things to where he is not 100% sure anymore. However, he never said Crowton was staying.

Just wait until after the bowl game and then we shall see the changes Coach has in plan for the staff. Going to be great 12 -0 next season and play tOSU in Glendale,AZ for MNC!!

Tea Leaves show Saints and LSU both winning the 12th game by the same 33-30 score in overtime. This is an ancient oracle sign tied in with numerology. As a Cherokee Indian, that is a strong omen for next year. Wins SEC !! Yea BABY YEA
THE SAGE HAS SPOKEN!!! BOOK BOOK BOOK IT!

it might be too expensive to buy him out at this point

Then we should forget about being an elite program. It's the familiar ol' saw "a million dollar appetite but a hot dog budget." Bama, Texas, ND, UF, UGa or Tenn would not bat an eye at that price if it meant correcting an insufferable problem. Make no mistake, Crowton is insufferable.
If we suck offensively in 2010 it will cost LSU plenty in terms of declining interest, attendance and eventually in recruiting.

I just got a news alert text message from ESPN that says he is still headed to LSU.

BP vs ESPN - It's on!

haha I hope we get Tyke thats who Miles wanted...I believe he was still trying to make it happen, so if it does, great, the situation is still in the air.

now it's time to say it loud and clear:

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?

if tyke is still coming, doesn't that lend more credence to the BG as OC query?

Exactly...In fact I would still be leaning towards he is leaving as a better chance than staying, but just saying I'm not as sure that he IS leaving

Everyone has to realize this is the time that everything is in the air. There's nothign I can come here and say that is 100% sure at this point.
