talk around LSU that it might be too expensive to buy him out at this point. That is out of Miles hand I believe.
he needs to give some of his check up and get a godamn OC in here next year. These great hires will be wasted when his arse is on the hot seat again next year.

I'm not a big Miles fan, but I'mabig LSU fan, and I hated to read that. Thank you BP for the insight.

How much is the buyout again?

Crowton's is about a million. I've heard TAF is going to step up and buy him out.

Crowton will bring an end to the Miles era

That is out of Miles hand I believe.

IF it is out of his regarding the BUYOUT, how can NOT firing CROWTON be the END of MILES???

Crowton stays. This has never been in doubt. It also does not matter if TAF has the money to buy Crowton out, if the board is ok with him staying and Miles wants him to stay, TAF is out of the deal.

I have a feeling TAF has a little more say in coaching hires and fires than people think.

Tyke-We wanted him, he was worried the NFL would have a lockout or something pretty soon and he was a little worried about that so back to the NCAA ranks sounded good, I guess he had a change of heart

I just got a news alert text message from ESPN that says he is still headed to LSU.

BP vs ESPN - It's on!

I think the reaction is WAY overblown. I believe the offense will be much improved whether Crowton is OC or not.

You folks should take a deep breath and relax a little.

Very short-sighted thought process imo. It will cost LSU more long-term to not replace him.

So it seems that Crowton may be correct in that he's staying?

Maybe in the off-season they can at least retool the offense with Wilson and Gonzales and Miles can step back completely from the offense.
