They've got Herman at 1/5. That's pretty high.
I'm sure LSU is all in on Jimbo any way. Can they get him? I'd say it's about a 40% chance at the moment.

You are saying its a 40% chance we get Jimbo?

why do you give it 40%?
I ask because I know you have some connections.

A few factors:
1) I know he has interest in LSU. Strong interest. That said, there is a difference between living in a different house than you ex & kids vs living in a different state than them (also, regardless of his son's improving health, Jimbo is well aware that the life expectancy is still less than 40 years and I can't see him being in a different state than him, so you have to weigh the whole "move the family and the ex" and you just don't know if Candi wants to move. It's more complicated than moving a married coach with healthy family, despite his strong interest in LSU, so it isn't a lock.)
2) He's got it wired at FSU now. he has little to no surprises in his role, and his team is built for success next year and beyond.
3) He's going to have some strong demands in order to overcome points 1 and 2 and make the move. Depends on if LSU wants to meet those demands, which they may or may not.
I'm not saying 40% JUST because of him. It may be that as talks progress LSU isn't as excited about it.

Jimmy Detail said the ex wife lives in Birmingham. Driving time to BR from Birmingham 6 hours, to Tallahassee 5 hours.

Im sure we could all figure out a nice compromise with Saban/Bama/Fisher that would leave all parties happy...

I'm not sure that's the case. Her mom and step dad live in Birmingham and, I think, she and Jimbo used to have a property in Bham together.
If she's here, it isn't full time. I was told he set her up with a place in Tally.

there is absolutely no validity to "odds" in this context. it's a dressed up guess.
garbage is garbage.

What where their odds for Hillary to win prez before MAGA happened?

I believe Herman is the favorite and expected to land there. But gambling is a risky business

You're comparing something involving 140M+ decision makers to something involving about a half dozen people?
