We have caught wind of chatter that he’s in line — if not the front-runner — to become Pitt’s next head coach. Given the abruptness of what’s apparently renewed interest in Harsin on the part of Texas, that speculation may indeed have some legs.

This disaster of a year for Texas keeps getting worse. We are settling for our 3rd & 4th choice at key roles all over the program. The 2011 season will be a nightmare.

Seems Major Applewhite can't get the OC job at Texas. It still amazes me that some want him at LSU.

They interviewed Chryst. Then apparently Pitt also requested an interview with him and Mach Brown said if he interviews they will move on to plan B/C/D depending on what plan Chryst was lol.

Huge get if true for Mack Brown and Texas. He is one of the best OC's and offensive minds out there right now in college football. I would take him at LSU in a heart beat
