The Cooks hire has been a little suspect IMO. Strange to bring a guy on like that prior to nailing down your DC.

You are a fricking troll. Go back to the bama or a&m boards.

We don’t have to have any kind of back up plan. We are fans and have no say dip shite.

Chicken - spare us these idiots.

More than suspect. If he’s anything more than a defensive analyst, it’s a bad hire. Idk what he brings to the table.

Every other hire he’s made has been world class

If the 500k salary is correct then Cooks certainly won't be an analyst.

I’m not hoping this is the case, but all you sunshine pumpers better have a backup plan just in case the worst should happen.

Truth is, y’all don’t know shite

And you do? With your stupid fricking bitchmade petty rambling negativity about a situation that you couldn’t be more clueless about? Go frick yourself

Which maybe should make you stop and think that you might not be assessing this hire correctly. Kelly clearly trusts his strengths as a recruiter, which he could not do as an analyst. He also mentioned his fit in building a culture and being a mentor to young men. That’s an aspect of building a successful program that should not be overlooked.

You poor soul.

You will never get Les Miles, Ed Orgeron, and Joe Alleva out of your head lol

LSU doesn’t have goobers running the show anymore. Just relax lol

Did he forget to set up a staff correctly? Surely he still understands how to create an A+ program.

I’m glad we have all the posters input based on their great success scanning valves and failing piss tests.

If he’s listening to the rant and taking advice from them then he is on the right track. This place would never lose a football game or a basketball or baseball game for that matter.

For the first time since 2004, I'm not really that concerned with the hires the LSU head football coach is making. The reason most people were extremely interested and "melted" or gloated in the ebb and flow of these things is the head coach wasn't someone that particularly instilled confidence that he had things under control.

Now we have that....

Worst thing that can happen is Kelly struggles next year, but does exactly what he has done in his career... adapt, adjust, and improve.

It is rather nice having an adult back in charge of our program. Two children were able to capture a NC so we should be in good shape soon.
