Is this possible? Whats the history? Did he have issues with meyers or mullin or both?

He had issues with Meyer and the fact that Steve Addazio was made OC instead of him....
if Mullen gets the job, its a possibility...if its Petrino...no way...
edit: There was some bad blood on the way BG left Florida and Jeremy Foley (UF AD) may have an issue with that...

It's hard to get a read on Gonzales with such a shitty OC. We will get a better idea of him once (IF) Crowton is gone.

Gonzales is not a good coach. He brings nothing to the table. Our WRs got worse this year and he was the "passing game coordinator'. GTFO

he has a good reputation, but due to circumstances, he hasn't proven (or disproven) this label
he came in late in the game last year, so it wasn't expected that he'd tear it up
i don't know who he has pulled this year as the lead recruiter
recruiting relationships typically take more than a year to really develop
