Whenever someone randomly starts aggressively and angrily suggesting and defending a certain candidate, I always wonder whether it's a child or whether it's someone with something to gain from that candidate's name being pushed.

Not defending him.
Just can't fricking stand how so many on this board just gush over facts.
For example people act like kiffin is so much better than other candidates when everything in his history shows otherwise.
They act like Franklin is some stud when he is a out to be 36-36 & 25-23 in conference when he doesn't have joe Moorehead.
Just like when people act like BoB is a terrible coach. Everything he has done screams exact opposite. Won division 4 out of first 6 years in NFL. Was 52-44 before being named "gm" and I put that in quotes because he was gm in name only and there just to take blame.
All week I have been accused of being a Napier guy or anti kiffin or anti frankin.....now I'm suddenly a BOB guy?
And far as pushing candidates....you new to coaching changes and this board?

I'm not saying he is the guy, just like I wasn't saying Napier was the guy. Was simply pointing out he was way way way more successful than. 99% of this board realize and should be someone we should atleast hear from and feel out his vision.

I take issue with that statement. In his tenure at the Texans, his divisional opponents were weak— Jacksonville, Luck-less Colts, and Tennessee in the Mettenberger / Mariotta years. Thats the NFL equivalent of the Sun Belt and guaranteed 6 wins

Nobody gives a frick what you take issue with
Facts are no team in the nfl Is duck. Sure it was a weaker division but it's still the nfl.
Outside of the patriots, the afc east was weak as frick during Sabans years and he sucked(not as bad as people make it seem though). Same with carrol round 1.
Bottomline is BOB, went 9-7 first 3 years, the. 4-12. Then went 11-5,10-6....that takes a damn good coach to do that in the nfl no matter the division.

I understand your point about BOB, and he probably is more qualified than others, but I still don’t BOB. It “feels” like a dud hire.
And the reality is we have a huge alumni base in Houston and a BOB would alienate that portion of the fanbase, whether they’re right to hate him or not

He still only has 2 years of college HC-ingand lost 9 games.
And he gets a pass for losing 9 games in 2 years because he took over a team on sanctions. Cool. That shouldn't be good enough for LSU.

Bill O'Brien has set the Texans back years and YEARS (which is hard to do considering the few accomplishments of the franchise)
He is a power hungry ego maniac and none of the Texans players seemed to like him or respect him. Yeah he kept us decent in a TERRIBLE division at the time. But how did he do in the big games? How did he do in the Playoffs? He was another guy who would just blame his coordinators and then fire them every year.
