I'm still pissed Mark Emmert didn't hire Hal Hunter after he did a great job as interim coach in 1999. Hal really loved LSU as well.

To the people that are begging for Coach O to not be coach, do any of you know his resume??? You keep bringing up Ole Miss. So what! Ole Miss was garbage since forever until Freeze started paying 5 star recruits. Everywhere "O" has been, other than Ole Miss, he has been successful. At top programs and with the short stint with the Saints. Some of you hope we lose games just so he doesn't become permanent head coach? How stupid does that sound. If we don't lose under him then it means we're winning! Isn't that the hole point? WTF is wrong with some of you?

Because it's the only damn place he's been a head coach and ran a program and it was horrible. I don't give a shite about his d line coaching jobs, which is the only job he can get by the way. Nobody even wants him as a defensive coordinator. This is pure insanity.

You're missing my point. IFFFFFF he wins, which is why they play the game and why we emotionally invest our Saturday's, then why fire him? It's good to win right? No matter who the coach is.

I like Coach O but IMO, and at least for me as a fan, Ive been saying all along. He needs to run the table with wins over Mizzou, USM, Ole Miss, Bama, Arky, Floridan and T A&M and then get in the SEC Championship game and win that and I then say he deserves a shot at HC. Anything short of that and Hire the best person available, hopefully Herman or Jimbo and again that is just my thoughts on the situation.
