I’ve lived in both. My roots are in NOLA. Quality of life for me Oklahoma is better. That’s not easy for me to admit.

All area codes are better than 504
504 drags Louisiana down
So what don’t you move away and make us all better and don’t let the door hit you on the way out

Norman is a better town in terms of the local government. EBR is a shite hole for the most part.

I've never been to Norman, but I would imagine that it doesn't have the culcha element that BR does. Also, their local government has to be better than Broome and the clown show that is the EBR Metro Council. Riley has kids, so schools are a priority, although his would likely go to the LSU lab school. Crime is also something to consider. Money can make you overlook a lot though.

Most of the OU fans I've encountered have been uptight, humorless types, so LSU fans will be a whole new experience for him. The passion and pageantry that comes with football in the South is also a world away from what's used to.

NE Oklahoma is really nice with the Ozarks but once you get past Stillwater the trees begin to get shorter and less plentiful. Just west of OKC is flatter than Caitlin Jenner's chest.

I've lived in OK and would gladly live there again.

I've not lived in LA, but from my visits there, I have not seen anywhere I would choose to live over the places I have been in OK.

"Better" is personal perefence.

The argument is more which is the better city. Norman/OKC sucks. No culture and flat as frick. BR smokes it. Tulsa is great but otherwise the state sucks.

OKC is a pretty nice city and you can be in the Ozarks in under 3 hours. Tulsa is a nice city too and on the edge of the Ozarks.

Uclub, CCLA, Bocage are all communities that are well entrenched. You could easily pay your way live pretty nicely on a $12 mill/yr, pretty much living secluded.

I always wondered how much that mansion on Highland, across the road from Santa Maria would run if it was offered on the market.
