Yeah, yeah... good luck on the last part...

But who would be a great hire for my Hogs. All flaming aside?

Need a builder, who can recruit steadily...

Harsin? Drink? Who?

lets see if we get some realistic convo here... doubtful!

Harsin would be solid. If y'all can somehow pull of Rhule, that would be amazing

Butch Davis than Willie than Eli

You need someone to build a foundation so when saban retires it is an attractive job

Arky will be fine.

They should be happy they didnt sell out for LK. LK has proven nothing at the big level, except he was in over his head, in both situations.

I'd be shocked if LK has a winning SEC record by year 4, if he makes it that long, and doesn't have some NCAA shitstorm brewing.

Arkansas has reportedly moved on from Kiffin. I'm hearing they're looking at giving Rhule a top 10 salary in a last ditch effort to save face. Drinkwitz is the most likely option.
I posted this two days ago when Arkansas was still convinced Lane was a done deal. Drinkwitz is going to happen. Harsin, along with 7 other coaches, has already turned them down. I still say that Fritz is what you need for the short-term fix but your fan base might revolt if a 60 year old is hired.

Ark should say screw it and get freeze. That would be a Pearl to AU type move.

Y'all should hire Fritz, TBH. There's no way a young big name should take that job. Bert has to regret taking it so damn much.

Hire Fritz for what? Do you idiots not understand that whatever the hell kind of argument for Fritz is the same argument that was made for Morris and he produced some of our worst teams of all time?

Wut? That's absolutely stupid. Fritz has been a successful head football coach for a quarter of a century. Morris was a mediocre head coach for three years.

At the lower levels sure. He has Tulane at an average G5 level. Morris had Smu at an average G5 level. It would be completely dumb to fire a guy to promote a 500 60 year old coach to a power 5 school and even dumber to do it at a school in the SEC west.

We did, but isn't Boise his Alma Mater ?

His home, so to speak?
