He's probably not going to feel comfortable telling us what's going on. I'd imagine Les has made a decision though already.
SMU has supposedly offered June Jones so I hope that happens.

I don't know for sure but I think Jones is only making a little more than 800k at UH. He could make about 1.7 million at SMU.

As appealing as Hawaii sounds, after several years, it gets pretty old...Imagine the recruiting, the traveling...The travel for EVERY away game...I think it just gets old...If he ever wants to do better as a coach he's gotta leave.

I didn't know until last night that he played there. Guess it helps to be familiar with it all; it seems that the whole cultural thing would get old after a while if you weren't used to it.

Did you hear them say during the Sugar Bowl that his recruiting budget is 50,000/year? That's insane! They also said he hasn't made a recruiting trip to the main land in like 3 years....can you imagine trying to recruit kids to Hawaii without even meeting them or their parents? You also can't afford to fly them in on official visits. Sad.

Jones looks a bit old to me...and his boy (QB) didn't look too good against quality Defense...

I don't give a rip about Brennan...but there is no way you could learn much from the Sugar Bowl about him. There isn't a QB in the world that can play well with guys in your grill every snap.
