Vol is being fed information that isn’t true. Vol panicked when he got this information understandably and posted it to the rant. Of course it spread like wildfire and here we are. Another Woodward win.

I am convinced that Vol works in player personnel, equipment room, or recruiting ops, based on the info he has supplied in the past. I don’t think he would get much access to this info other than the rumors going around at Football Ops. Since those rumors are pretty far removed from the ADs office, I am willing to bet that he doesn’t have a great beat on who the hire is, or which way the wind is blowing so he may find out when a coach is out, but I can’t imagine he had the strategic insight on this. Even TBL, who I think works at the firm of the AD general council probably isn’t getting super up to date info, probably a week behind and only high level status update.
