Done in by one of our own. Scott Woodward. I wonder if hes sour for not getting the AD job in his own hometown over a yankee that participated in a massive cuck job in a rape case at a prestigious school.

LSU hired the wrong local baw into the athletic program. Ogre-ron =/= Woodward.

worst case for them- Lsu is paying a DC more than Hc!

Makes Lsu look like amateurs.

I'd say lsu's ceiling is around 2.3 to 2.5 million for him. 3 million plus is just bonkers for a coordinator and would be awful for cfb.

At this point even if it's not money driven, which money always helps being honest, how much longer does Aranda even stay with us with the problems and the division that's happening? If he is as smart as we all perceive he sees the direction we are heading hell Chavis saw the direction we are heading. Not to mention he has to know how O backdoored his way to the top to begin with. Now O is pushing out people who don't rollover for him and Aranda is being offered more money and stability? Think about it

But NOTHING has changed with his current situation since he turned A&M down on Sunday! The only thing that's changed is that A&M apparently sweetened their offer. Now, maybe the new one, whatever it is, is too good to pass up, but him leaving today versus not leaving on Sunday certainly has nothing to do with Orgeron or LSU.

The money isn’t as high as reported....Aranda would have already left... The longer he isn’t announced at A&M the better It is for us.... If A&M is spurned by aranda....who do they get?

I hear it is $2.1 m with term and decent incentives. We can match that.

Throwing insane amounts of money are coaches is not considered some shrewd move.

It's not insane if it's a drop in the bucket for them.

They get stronger while weakening us at the same time.

They weaken us even if he stays at this point. They might only be acting out of desperation, but us having to match money with them can only reduce our ability to pay Canada's buyout settlement (or offset amount) and the amount we can offer another OC.

Don’t know if he likes it, but he sure loses every single conflict.

Can’t wait till we lose him.

In poker this is called a squeeze play. Your move a-hole.

The posts get dumber every moment. This has nothing to do with poker or “choosing”. It’s a business decision. aTm has made an offer. They were rebuffed. They countered. It’s simply a negotiation. It’s Aranda’s choice not Alleva. Aranda is not demanding Orgeron job.
