Since Auburn won't keep a coach long enough to establish anything, any Head Coach that takes the job only has to put in 2-4 years of work and will get a golden parachute so big they won't have to work again.

Helluva a good deal to get millions to not coach again.

This dumbass take again? Dye 12 years, Bowden 7 years, Tubs 10 years, Chizik 4 years, Gus 8 years. I’m sure if Dabo was having losing seasons and recruiting worse than your program ever has, you’d keep him.

Firing Gus was a mistake. Will be shocked it their next hire has as much success as he did it.

Doing well at UCF too

Harsin is the first Auburn coach to not make his 3rd season since the 50s. The first to leave with a losing record since the 20s.

This "Auburn fires coaches faster than everybody" narrative is false.

Key term there is UCF. UCF is not in the SEC.

The truth is, that for a school that produces rocket scientists, when it comes to football coaches , y'all act like space cadets. Run off coaches with winning records like Malzahn, then overpay his replacement and then can him after 1.5 years.

I'm not seeing much intelligence here.

Didn’t Chiz and Gus get big raises and extensions right before termination?

I think that’s what he’s referring to.

Also, the interim HC got paid for doing little to nothing before being let go.

Most MLB starters earn less than Harsin. Harsin still wins this retirement scheme.

So did Ed Orgeron.

Chizik and O got raises and extensions immediately after winning national championships.
