At this point would you accept Mario Cristobal?

(Not expecting many) Yes I know it seems like hiring O all over again but he seems more competent. Personally I would like a coach who masters one side of the ball instead of a CEO but I can get with Cristobal

I like that his name is like crystal ball.

Would have a month ago and still today.

At this point?
Conference championship games still need to happen, let alone the CFP.
I want whoever Woodward wants. And there are NO FACTS to support the notion that he won’t get his number one. Just a bunch of tween girl men on this board throwing hissy fits.

He's barely above Coach O.

Would love the hire

And he would take the job why?

Well coach O won a title, does that mean Cristobal gets 2?

I was on Cristobal's bandwagon until yesterday when I heard that he'd never been a coordinator. That was one of the biggest issues with Ed Orgeron IMO. He has replenished Oregon's talent level, particularly along the offensive line which is an area where LSU has always had depth problems.
I wouldn't be upset if LSU hired Cristobal but I wouldn't be completely sold on him.

Haven’t you heard? LSU is the greatest job out there. No one would turn it down

Absolutely not he's about to lose his best assistant in Moorehead to Akron I don't trust paying someone a shite ton and having to pay a shite ton to hire the best coordinators because they can't coach one side of the ball themselves.

Sure, another rah rah guy with no specialty and a miserable failure as a head coach except in the last 2 years. Just what we need.
The guys has gotten a lot of mileage from beating a division that's P5 in name only.

Why not? SEC roots, fantastic recruiter, and has Oregon playing pretty well. Just needs to get over the hump and quit shitting the bed in the one annual game that means the most. I think he is an upgrade to O, and has a better chance of success here with in state talent than at Oregon

Cristobal made a generational QB (Herbert) look like a mediocre-good QB. You want that guy?

Do you know Dabo has never been a coordinator?
