It sounds plausible that Texas is going to offer a 100 million dollar guaranteed contract that would promise Saban 90 million in exchange for not coaching if he retired after year one?

It is plausible so much that Pawwwwwwl and many of the bama fans on here were concerned that he was leaving before MB pulled his stunt.

If it was plausible before he was "forced" to accept the Alabama offer, when there was no opening at UT, then it is plausible that UT could approach NS with a number that would cause him to reconsider any commitments previously made.

It is not plausible that UT does not have the funds available to cause NS to reconsider his future. It is not plausible to think that someone that does reconsider their future may choose either of the options before them.

While it may not be probable at this point, only someone in denial would argue that it is not plausible for UT to make such and offer, NS to consider and possibly accept such an offer.

How much are you getting paid by LSU to promote the rumors of Saban to UT? It's a great tactic, spreading misinformation, to harm Bama's recruiting, especially recruiting in LSU country. Not a better place, than Tigerdroppings, for disseminating the negative propaganda about Bama in an attempt to help LSU and it's head to head battle vs Bama.

You also have censored post by Bama fans that alluded to Les being hired by UT. Until you had then talking points handed to you, you then allowed replies to your post on Les & UT.

We're on to your ruse, the great quackhole ! ;)

It is plausible to think that for political reasons Texas won't pay as much as it could for a coach.

A gump chastising TD for censoring and "negative propaganda?"

Some people just can't take a joke. Again, I find it very humorous that some people come to a website created by an LSU fan for LSU fans (initially) and then complain about LSU fans.

For Saban to take another look at Texas...they would have to throw a number at him significantly higher than the 7.5 he got to stay at Alabama.

Personally, while Texas could do that, I don't think they will...at least not until they strike out on some of the other big names on their list.

If they start to get desperate, that's when you might see one more run at Saban.

And, even then, I think there is a decent chance that Alabama would match the offer.

10 years $100 million. Do you think Bama would match that? The bidding war would be spectacular.

If I had to bet I'd say the next coach at Texas is either Jimbo or Harbaugh.
