The big donors aren’t going to with gold their money if we hire Briles. They are just posturing. If you love LSU you don’t take your money and go home.

Sounds like he's pimping pretty hard.
However, it's interesting that fans are willing to accept virtually any behavior as long as it results in winning. Briles isn't the only choice here. There are lots of bright, creative offensive minds out there. Why take a risk on Briles past blowing up in your face?
O has his mulligan. He has to make the right hire and any candidate needs to be more thoroughly vetted than Canada.

I'm not saying we should accept any behavior to win. If he's guilty of covering up rape or forcing girls to have sex with recruits to win them over he deserves to have his teeth kicked in while he's in a federal prison. All I'm saying is there was no proof that Kendal was involved in the cover ups. He wasn't implicated in the original investigations and has only been brought up with that one comment in a civil case. I'm not trying to say it should be ignored at all, I'm just pointing out that FAU vetted him before this civil case and found absolutely nothing to tie him to the crap his dad was involved in at Baylor. You can't punish a person for being somewhere that something happened if they weren't directly involved. Are we going to start arresting people who are inside the grocery store when it gets robbed or tell them you were in this store when it was robbed so we can't hire you? That's my only point here.
