He learned using a 3-3-5 from a great head coach in Rocky Long who came back home to New Mexico this past year as DC from head coaching SDSU.

can some posters talk about this coach and why he would be high on the want list

he's 34...

MSU

that's about it

Did a good job at one of the CA schools before State.

He and Reeves should be on the short list.

Ran some highly ranked defenses at San Diego. Took over a really bad MSU unit that was replacing 7 starters without many highly recruited replacements. Didn’t light the world on fire in 2020, but defended the SEC offenses better than expected.

Guy is a good coach. Did real well out west.

Moo was playing good D for a lot of the year. And that’s hard to do on a Mike Leach team. They were ranked more than 50 spots ahead of LSU...

Yeah and if Oregon really wanted him I think they could pony up more money than LSU only IF they were willing to pay that though. They got some mega rich boosters at that program.

We didn't lose Freeman due to money.

If Arnett wants to be back on the west coast he'll us for leverage as well.

Freeman is also someone you offer 2 mill for I don't think you go as high for arnett.

Just read that recent SI article on him. Hadn’t heard of him before, but i think i’m into this hire if we ens up making it. At least seems like he has the highest ceiling of anyone left in the running.

That’s not saying much considering how bad LSU was
