We are offering a Texas Tech/Oregon type budget to a certain candidate.

It doesn’t matter who they hire, Arkansas will always be a bottom half (if they’re lucky) SEC program. But at least getting Franklin, you’ll lose every close game too

100% believe this is why we will hire him. Zero confidence Hunter gets this right.

Texas Tech with billionaire backing is easily a ~Top 2 job in the Big 12 (and likely THE best job), which means that you are going to have a realistic playoff path each year as the coach there.

Arkansas is a bottom tier SEC job trying to claw its way to mid-tier status.

Auburn's last winning season was in 2020 with Gus at 6 and 5. Y'all have shite out three coaches since then. If Arkansas is at the bottom, Auburn is right there with us.

When’s the last time Arkansas was even in a natty, much less win one?

I was replying to an Auburn fan running his cock holster. With LSU history you have room to run your's but a word of caution. Given LSU's status right now with no president, AD, and coaching opening, the wrong hire in any of those positions and LSU is back tp the Curly Hallman days. You must everyone in those positions on the same page and not have meddling governor trying to run things.

Can we revisit WHY he was fired from the Raiders??? Ah, here we go........ "Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden resigns over racist, homophobic, misogynistic emails."

Seems like a guy that everyone should be ready to hire.

Historically yes, but Auburn is proof that the wrong people making bad decisions can cause a dramatic fall and long term failure. So, it can happen to LSU just as easily if the wrong hires are made.

Sounds like your governor got his guy the job and can help run things behind the scenes. Good for you.

AT BEST Arkansas is 10th out of 14th teams. And that’s giving them benefit of the doubt. There’s legitimate arguments they’re behind at least mizzou and maybe South Carolina. Congrats on being on the tier with kentucky, ms state, and Vandy

Hardly. He made an arse of himself last week on the sideline, he is not well-liked, and we all know he has baggage.

If I was billionaire booster I wouldn’t donate to a Sam Pittman led program either.
