You know they didn’t go to Arkansas for life.

I like how y’all just assume that Kelly can pick up the phone and whoever he calls will just accept

Well we can make them the top paid assistants in the country, so id imagine most are in play for us

Yes they do. We know this as courtesy of the old CEO coaching model. When you have a CEO coach, offensive and defensive success is tied solely to your coordinators.

Ask Brad Davis how that worked out for him.

Again, it’s funny that y’all assume LSU is a money machine that can outspend other SEC programs

I like how y’all just assume you can pick up the phone and call the winningest coach in Notre Dame history and he will just accept

Whoops

Well, its not an assumption. Lsu has paid top 5 money to assistants for years

All those wins and not one title to show for it.

Well, we did pluck a good coach off their staff like 3 weeks before the season started.

Everyone has a price. In Lane’s case I do think a phone call was enough.

Congrats on getting a guy who grew up an hour from
Baton Rouge and went to LSU to move back to his home state and alma mater.

Not according to him. But hey, we should probably believe a random tigerdroppings poster instead.

while this is true, and an offer is an offer do keep in mind two things:

1. Arky ain't poor; they are one of the richest SEC teams. Now they traditionally didn't pay assistants very well. That has changed. They are on the top end of that now.

2. Part of the reason Pittman only makes 3.75 mmUSD is because he insisted that was the trade off to more money going to asst. coaches.

While I'm not saying you can't poach Arky assistants, I am saying it isn't as easy as it once was.

Money talks. You’d know that if your school had any.
