It's either Luke Fickell or Lincoln Riley because both are still in the playoff discussions.
The fact that an announcement has not been made says a lot. If it was Aranda, Napier, Stoops, Peterson, Urban, the announcement would have been made already or it would have been leaked...purposely.
Woodward pulled the trigger on Ed O early to ensure he locked up his guy.
I think I'm good with either.

Of course. At this point it feels like it’s got to be one of them. Going into this search those would have been my top two not named Nick Saban.

If you're not good with either of those two you need a reality check.
But, it's not as simple as saying the others are eliminated. First off, rumor is Riley has until Sunday, so we could pivot to Napier or someone else.
Secondly, even if Napier is LSU's top pick, for example, going public with it while he is still chasing a conference title for ULL is poor form.

Napier, Aranda, Rhule, Fickell, and Riley wouldn’t be leaked. They still have meaningful games left although that could be a moot point by Sunday morning.
And I’m honestly not sure if Napier will coach the conference title game if Florida or LSU tells him to start recruiting ASAP.
Campbell, Peterson, and M. Stoops have nothing meaningful left (and Peterson would be here already if he was the hire).
