When it comes to coaching searches less is more. Leverage is important and leaks hurt leverage. The only people who are leaking info are the agents.

LSU may make the customary inquiry with Freeman's agent, but I can tell you as definitively as possible that Freeman will not even entertain the offer.

In my opinion a good athletic director will have a list of potential quality coaches who like LSU for unplanned circumstances.
