Looks like conflicting reports.......

Holgorsen: Two sources tell us that Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen will have a new home by the end of the week; but it might not be where you are hearing. Stay tuned.

Pitt: Once again, despite the Pittsbugh Post Gazette report, we are hearing that Holgorsen has not interviewed with Pitt. We do, however, hear that Holgorsen has options at other places.

Pitt: The Pittsburgh Post Gazette is now reporting they have confirmed that Oklahoma State offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Dana Holgorsen has interviewed for the Pitt head coaching job.

As long as it's not OC at Florida, or anywhere else in the SEC, then I can live with him not coming to LSU.

Word is he turned down the Pitt job. There is no fricking way he will go to WV to be a HC in waiting. If anyone actually thinks this is going to happen then you have the downs.

He's going to be paid $800,000 next year & then he will make 1.4 Million as head coach in 2012. Good move for a guy wanting to become a head coach. With Holgerson now at West Virginia they are in prime position to dominate the Big East for the next several years if they continue to recruit well. Good Luck to him, he's a hell of a football coach and offensive mind.

Texas fans wanted him bad as OC, but word is Dana loves his booze and coeds, and probably wouldn't have been a good fit with Mack.

WVU is perfect for him.

WVU's AD Luck is a Houston guy, recently the president and GM of the Dynamo (which won two MLS titles), so he saw Holgorsen firsthand when he was the OC at UH last season. Luck knows how to run a sports organization. Not surprised he made the bold hire.
