Former Tech WR Eric Morris was just named HC at UNT as well. Was OC at Wazzu and a successful head coach at FCS Incarnate Word. He replaced former OU RB Seth Littrell, who also played for Leach for a year

Wasn’t Michael Crabtree at Texas Tech when Leach was the head coach? Crabtree turned out to be a pretty doggone good wide receiver.

The guy was legendary, no doubt. I don't know if he'll ever get the credit he truly deserves, but TTU, WSU, and MSU are all much better jobs now because of what he did there. There are alot of coaches that just wouldn't be able to win at those places, and yet, somehow they fit him perfectly.
