Another couple names to throw out there..

a buddy of mine damn near talk everyday about coaching search, not only LSU but many other schools as well. Said another name to keep an eye on is DJ. Durkin at Maryland.. Excellent track record as recruiter/Coordinator/ in his first head coaching job but is at 4-0 at Maryland.. Hometown of youngstown, Ohio. (many good college coaches come out of there.. went to bowling green, again, good pedigree of coaches.. the agency he works for is keeping an eye on him.. doesnt have the resume yet for LSU, but he falls within their success index.. said he was in the same boat as Chad Morris at SMU.
One last name that is shooting up their board is Jeff Brohm...says he has been looked at from several places and this will prob be his last year at Western Kentucky, too many schools asking about him.
Said to really look out for Mike Gundy/ Art Briles if he's cleared (which may come out soon, says look whats happening in Vegas) His agencies dark horse is still Chad Morris but Durkin is moving up their board. When asked about Herman he said its a lock at Texas.. When OU beats Texas the decision to fire Strong will be made and Hermans agent has already been contacted to gauge interest.
Also says Fisher will not leave FSU, is using LSU to get a solid pay raise.. dont shoot the messenger, this is what my buddy does in Atlanta..

So pass on two successful coaches for two unproven guys? If you want a coach that ignores defense you will hate Jeff Brohm.

Face facts Briles is at the top of the Board because he turned Baylor around into a force..
Gundy has improved on what was given to him by Miles.
those two things cant be denied and outweigh many other factors in coaching searches.

Double pass. Don't need a thin skinned guy like Gundy and don't need a guy who helps shush rape. People who believe that this guy is innocent, even if they let him slide, are dumb. An HC who didn't know this was happening in his own admin is a jackass to begin with.

Nothing is a "lock" because Texas still has a coach. You say when Texas loses to OU, but you don't know for sure. Better choice of words please.
