"What are you going to do to beat Alabama. That has to be the measuring stick. Cannot win the Ship if you do not beat them. Herman would be that answer and he did so with his 3rd string quarterback!!

That's a question he will ask to O on Friday, but honestly any discussions that happen directly with Jimbo or others will be about an overall vision and not specifically about one team. It's about winning championships and having a great program - the details are obvious.
And honestly, the deal that may or may not be in place and ready for Jimbo to review is based on who he is already and not an answer he would give to Alleva about beating Alabama.

You do realize that it's not bama keeping us out of the college playoffs the last two years. It's losing to teams that we were favorite to beat. It's crappy play calling and QB recruiting. Let's start winning those

I bet you Saban won't be the least bit happy if Jimbo comes here. He's a recruiting mf'r just like Saban. Will give Bama a run for their money for the #1 overall class every year.
And Jimbo can actually get his QB's to complete a forward pass consistently.

Why? It's not like they don't face off already for a number prospects each year. Alabama and Florida State have always shared similar recruiting territory.
