Well if all that we've been reading from the "he's coming" crowd is true, the AD isn't going to match and thinks the OU name will bring in a top talent on it's own.

Idk if Oklahoma is willing to match almost 15 mil, give him all the recruiting resources he needs, including Louisiana all to himself, and give him a huge budget on any assistant coaches but that’s just me.

Not about money. OU has money. They could match if they wanted. They seem to have conflict with the more traditional boosters while the half disagrees and wants to dish whatever he wants to keep him.
My personal opinion is I believe Riley is pissed but he's using LSU as a tool to get what he wants from OU. I think he's playing us. They'll cave and make him happy.

Just a thought….if he stays at OU, when they enter the SEC, he will lose 3-4 games a year. His perceived value will decline and more pressure on him from the fan base. His best chance to win is here. Money is a wash but winning is here

It really is not as bad as you think with media contracts on the horizon. All the coaches are about to get an inflated contract we're just ahead of the curve to get the guy we want.
