Ed orgeron was the correct choice to be the interim coach, because he had head coaching experience and had been an interim head coach at USC. Orgeron is being given credit for tweaking the offense so that LSU could blow Missouri out. Nothing personal, but Coach O has never been a coordinator in his life. He has never coordinated a defense or an offense. His role at Ole Miss was recruiter and cheerleader. I do not think O knows the game as well as some of us would believe. I would prefer someone else to be the head coach at LSU. If he runs the table or goes 6 and 1, I would reluctantly agree that he be given the job. Thoughts?

I really don't think the season comes out as good as some think I think 8-4 is probably the tops. that gives O a 6-2 record and if those 2 will be against 2 teams that we hate losing too.

I'm sorry but if you think O doesn't know football you are mistaken. Jesus. You people!

I'm with you. Like the guy but would be really, really, really disappointed if they fire les and then just give him the job b/c he went 6-2 with like 8 first round NFL draft picks

Seems like administration skills are most valuable to a head coach of a major program.

He knows plenty of football but I do have a hard time seeing him out coaching the big guns in the sport in a tight game. He'll get his chance to prove me wrong though.

I won't be upset that they fired les I don't care who they hire. I've been tired of seen goal line plays ran from the 45 for a long time and I love pro style offense and would like to see pro style stay here but that guy had lost his mind. No matter what college team we played we were going to be out coached. On top of that I truly believe Herman could of been our OC with les and it wouldn't of made a bit of difference.
