And he was a GA on Saban's Michigan St staff so he went with someone he knew and was comfortable with.

So just support the team and stop bitching.

He was coaching in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, you idiot. That GA job was over 20 years ago.

If Ensminger spent a few years at New England I would feel comfortable too.

Bamas offense was not good. They had Hurts running, a stable of 5 star backs running behind a massive and talented Oline, and one target in the passing game with Ridley which UGA for the most part took away. There was nothing spectacular about their offense. Just massive talented guys mauling teams.

He was a TE coach in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE. Didn't call plays. And, as the announcers said last night, hadn't WATCHED a college game in over 15 years.

You clowns would literally still support ed 0 if he hired the duck dynasty crew to run the offense

I know some former players that worked for Ensminger. They had very good things to say about him, and I trust their opinions over fans who let emotion dictate their day-to-day lives.

Ensminger ran Miles' offense well last year. People point to Florida and Alabama, but our offense went up and down the field on Florida all day; a costly redzone TO nixed a drive, a blown coverage by Jackson gave up a long TD, and Guice going the wrong way on the final play.

Miles' offense was always doomed to fail vs Alabama. We just had some missed opportunities (long catch by Chark where he was barely OOB inside the Alabama 15) a 3 for 1 penalty cancellation that would have prolonged a drive into Alabama territory, and the 3 holds on Hurts' 3rd down TD run in the 4th.

You guys want Orgeron to fail and hate this hire. Well, here you have it.

1. If Ensminger struggles running the offense, you get your wish. Are you happy?
2. However, if Ensminger succeeds, our offense does well and we have a great season. Are you happy?

not when O and his CheeriO faction use this as an excuse to defend O and give him "one more chance" to fix the offense

he doesn't want to be OC. even if he's a success, we get that for what? 1 year? 2 max? then we have to hire a new OC

If he's successful, he won't bail.

Not gonna happen if this blows up in his face.

This argument is so incredibly weak I find it difficult that you actually believe this.

I think you are one of a number of shills that will be hitting board in full force this week to try to "shame" everyone into accepting the OC hire.

The hiring of E as OC is yet another massive failure and betrayal by O, Alleva, and anyone who made this happen.

They are committed to profits and to their self-interest. No one can credibly say LSU is committed to winning the SEC.

He was Kansas City's O.C. before. Yes, he's been a o.c. recently at the highest level of football. Now, Compare that to S.E. resume.
