I don't. Why don't you apply that scrutiny to opinions you agree with?

I believe at this point the deal is dead. It became a clown show. Saban hates clowns.

Not true. Did you see their fan day? Clowns everywhere. He would have bailed then.

Real talk genro. What do you do? Do you have a job? Are you in school? What's the deal? You're on this board a lot so I just did a quick post search and you've LITERALLY (since you like that word ) been on since 9:30 this morning and have been posting constantly. Your only break was about 20 minutes around noon. And it's been that was for the past few days. You were nonstop yesterday until 1am. You're logging some serious hours my man.

It IS a clown show.

I'll type the words one more time: I don’t think it’s happening.

Then again, I didn’t think he was going to Alabama, either.

if all the rumor and innuendo has reached these levels, why isn't saban speaking out? Why is his silence so deafening. That was the biggest thing I learned when he eventually left LSU. He talked through various channels that he was staying to recruits, their families, and his own family. Never once did he speak anything to put anything to rest.

Then he was on a plane telling us all what a joy it was to coach here but he needed to take on a different challenge.

IMO he's going there until he says otherwise (obviously)

Schultz is a clown show...

I mean he says this:

quote:

Saban is not a bad or evil person. But his loyalty is to himself. He’s a climber. He’s always looking for the next great challenge. That doesn’t make him unique among college coaches. It’s just a source of great humor every time a college fan base maintains, “Oh, he’ll never leave us! He loves us! His wife volunteers in soup kitchens here!”

But then he says this:

quote:

Here’s the problem. Saban has stayed at Alabama for seven years. He is 62 years old. Texas is a great job. It can offer riches beyond even what Alabama can: a percentage of the Longhorn Network. Austin is also one of the great cities in America. (And Tuscaloosa isn't.)
But Texas represents another great challenge, Saban has been there/done that. The only place he hasn’t achieved greatness in the NFL. If he leaves Alabama for any job, I believe, it will be the NFL. But at his age, I don’t think he’s going anywhere.

This is nothing more that Jeff Shultz trying to be Colin Cowherd.
