No good is served by wishing for failure. You’re basically saying you want LSU to win only if Orgeron is not the head coach.

No, I think he's saying that the chances of real success with Orgeron as the HC are next to 0 so the sooner we are on to the next HC the better.

There is simply no need to pay a coordinator more than $2 million. If they are offering him that you have to let him go. It will kickstart the downfall and removal of Alleva. After that we can begin to rebuild our championship caliber program. I honestly believe to get back to the level we all desire we will need to blow up the entire staff, even though there are valuable pieces like Aranda. It's just time to breed a new culture and breath of fresh air into our program.

HC as a p5 school would basically be the only move for him.

I agree and exactly.

He's the best coach on the staff, by far. He should have been head coach before O

He'll be one of the best coaches in CFB when it is all done IMO

Bye Ed. If this speeds up Os departure it's for the best.

You people are such losers. I am starting to believe that some of you would wish the team plane to crash if it would mean Orgeron was gone.

Not sure why anyone wants LSU to do poorly, but be careful what you wish for.

If Aranda leaves, it means he has little faith in O. Besides the part about losing him, which is horrible, it's a bad sign for the program as a whole.

Aranda is a smart dude. I can see it.

it has to get worse before it gets better for LSU

this is part of getting worse

the getting better part is when Orgeron is fired

Or they offered him $3 million.

He has to take it IMO if LSU doesn't match. He's too important here is the entire issue with hiring a HC that doesn't bring a great offense or defense to the table on his own

This. It has spiraled so bad out of control that this is where we are. It needs to hit rock bottom before we recover. And coach 0 hiring 3 new coordinators should be the nail in the coffin. It was fun while it lasted.

If it guaranteed O would be gone tomorrow, i would make Aranda the sacrifice. But i dont trust Alleva to fire O for any reason, so i cant make myself get on this boat.

Worst case is Aranda leaves and O stays for some god foresaken reason. I at least want to win a few games each year.

Sure he is, as soon as O gets the tires off of Canada, he will have to run over someone else. Aranda is the next logical choice. No one will want to have their future derailed by a long term relationship with Ed.
