WM isn't exactly a home run hire either. He's a good DC don't get me wrong but in his post Saban career he had put out plenty of meh defenses.

I don't like Texas A&M people. They are strange, in a bad way.

They give me the heebiejeebies. Like seeing a cult living in a Russian prison, but they're very proud of it to an annoying point. Something is wrong with them.

I hate Texas too, but mainly because I hate most things about the state of Texas. Big trucks, big egos, stupid laws, Houston, Cowboys/Jerry Jones, etc.

I actually love Austin, but not UT.

I find pleasure in watching you guys squirm though when people taunt you with Texas insults. Its like we can feel you boiling with anger through the computer screen.

Don't tell auburnphan that. He'll tell you you don't belong in this thread because it has nothing to do with your team. We're all scared of Muschamp.

Oh, piss off. We get it, Kirby Smart and Chavis are great. This isn't about you, fricksticks.

Clearly Texas controlled the state for the last 100 years...except for

1930-1940
1955-1957
1984-1997
2010-2014

Since 2010

Texas A&M 43-21
Texas 36-27

TheCaterpillar thank you for coming clean, but I already knew your story. You are a hipster/hippy to the core, and for folks like that Austin is some sort of Mecca (I hate this city personally). I actually appreciate your perspective on things, you are like an outsider that knows we exist thanks to your love of Austin.

Never said that. Apparently you didn't watch Kirby's defense in the IB. Or is it Saban's defense? You AU fans always confuse me with that.

For what it's worth, I think WM either sits out a year or goes to SC but maybe y'all convince him to come back. Only Will knows.

Gotta love the expert logicians who think that Muschamp, a football coach that LOVES to coach, is gonna sit on his arse for a year when he can do what he loves to do and make an extra cool million or million-and-a-half as a bonus.

Sure... he's gonna just sit on his arse when he can increase his salary by 50-75% next year. Y'all some fricking geniuses, I tell you.

It won't be announced officially but he'll be our HCIW and will be a Gamecock next year.

Y'all seem to be confident that WM is stupid enough to fall for that again.

Well hes not going to be head coach in waiting

He'll be assistant head coach and when Spurrier retires in 2017 he'll have an inside track for the head job if he turns the defense around.

Wat.

How can you hate Austin, and you sure as shite don't need to be a hipster to like it.

Lets see, I hate the:

-incredibly poor layout, which leads to the worst traffic in the state and region even though it is a smaller city

-the incompetent city government with Yankee priorities

-the fact that major parts of the metro are basically only accessible by toll road like it is Jersey or something

-the smug attitudes and tight pants of young Austinites

-the smug attitudes and $30k millionaire lifestyles of the 30-something Austinites

-the smug attitudes and desperate attempts to act young and cool from the older Austinites

-the fact that smelly homeless people are on every street corner and that is protected/encouraged

-the fact that the few really cool things about this town, like ACL or SXSW, have been overtaken by corporate carpetbaggers who have jacked up the costs beyond what is reasonable for the locals

-the fact you can't get parking anywhere, and the police are nazis when it comes to giving out parking tickets when you do find a place and the meter runs out

-the fact that the public transportation available, namely the train, is useless but still eats up tax money

-the fact that Barton Springs, everyone's favorite spot, is basically a toilet

-the fact that employers can pay less than average wages here because brainwashed idiots are so insistent that they "deserve" to live in Austin that there is always dozens of applicants for every decent job.

-the fact that the bikers have WAY to much political pull for a city where 95+% of people commute to work by car

I could go on if you want. Give me Houston or Dallas any day.

Where in the world you got that impression I have no idea. You might as well call the sun green and the sky red because insulting Texas is nonsense. It's the best state in the country by a wide margin and everyone knows it.

On second thought, maybe y'all do think the sun is green considering you think one of LSU's colors is gold.

Who would South Carolina fans take between Pelini and Muschamp if you had a choice between both? I don't like Pelini's personality at all, but he was certainly a more successful head coach than Muschamp. That could be important if you are also looking for a replacement for Spurrier
