Jimbo might accomplish more than Sumlin but that doesn’t mean he’s better than Orgeron. Few coaches could have turned this season around after the Troy loss. Orgeron has my confidence. I believe he’s every bit as good as Fisher. I think many oppose Orgeron because they are all in on opposing Alleva. Let’s stop this Aggie envy and get excited about the future of our Tigers. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

The fisher contract is a complete albatross but O hasn't proven anything yet. You can't lose to Troy and call it a good season. That was a complete embarrassment. Props to him for keeping the team from falling apart but they shouldn't have been in that position anyway.

Jimbo will have to go through Saban, Gus and Orgeron. He’ll lose to at least one of those in a consistent basis.

Who cares how much! 50, 75, 100 million? It's not your money. LSU has the money. Too cheap to become elite again. Administration is fine with being okay consistent 8-4 with occasional 10-2 for 3.5 million.

You’re an idiot. Yeah, that contract is stupid, but O is one game over .500 after winning nine games this year (including a loss to Troy) with no background as a coordinator or any distinguishable offensive or defensive skills. Fisher is 83-23 with three conference titles, a National Title and is well known as an offensive coordinator and QB coach.

Again, that contract is rediculous, but don’t try to use it as a way to say O was a good hire.

Say Jimbo wins a NC in 3 years and we have yet to make it to Atlanta. Would your answer remain the same?

BTW... We never came down to paying someone 75 million or coach Zero. We had other options

On that note, which slate of coaches are easier to beat, on an annual basis?

Swinney, Petrino, Mullen w/ FL athletes, Richt w/ Miami athletes

vs

Saban, Gus, O?, Muschamp?

The other wild card here is, what if Jimbo has an idea when Saban is going to hang it up? they're pretty close, after all. SECw suddenly isn't so tough.

Say Jimbo doesn’t and we do win a NC. Do you still whine about losing out on Jimbo?

Of course not, but there is zero basis for believing Ed Orgeron will win a national championship before Jimbo Fisher wins another. Other than blind faith.

Jimbo's team quit on him when O's fought back to salvage a good season. I take O. Jimbo will bomb at A&M.

I thought so too after the BC game, but if you watched any of the Syracuse, Clemson or Florida games, they actually didn't quit.

I never wanted Jimbo and I damned sure didn't want Zero. A&M opened their fly and showed college football their package. We ran to TG Max and got our coach. Time will tell who made the better deal.

Holy shite. This has to be Ponamsky. Dude, you're laying it on a bit thick. O has a long way to go before he has proven what Jimbo has.

I swear 99% of this board are emotional toddlers. You either hate or love O 100%. Very few people on here can just be honest about the situation. Our hire was a lazy cheap hire, and it showed in the beginning of this year. However O has the team back on track and finishing strong. So his overall rating is a B-, give or take.

Jimbo has been the much better coach through 2016. Let's not forget that. It's ludicrous to say O is better when comparing them up until now. O has the opportunity to change that but it's a long road ahead to consider him better than Jimbo.
