49ers coach Chip Kelly not eyeing a return to Oregon, any college

Sources close to Chip Kelly have told ESPN's Adam Schefter that the San Francisco 49ers head coach is not just paying lip service to the idea that he isn't interested to returning to his former Oregon coaching job or any college job, despite speculation to the contrary.
They say Kelly is staying with San Francisco, through the thick and thins of this challenging season.
Colleges that privately have made overtures to Kelly's representatives have been told in no uncertain terms that Kelly is not interested in going back to school.

If that's the case then he's probably got his agent putting out feelers.

Kelly & The Ducks parted ways mutually. He got to where he could/would not hide his disdain for having to smooze the boosters, recruit & hold players hands. He is a football coach, pure & simple. The Ducks got tired of his attitude and constant threats to bolt for the NFL. For anyone who knows him in Oregon, Philly or San Fran, this is not a surprise.

The same story was coming from the Saban camp in the midst of his Dolphin death spiral, but Bama refused to take no for an answer.
We all know how that ended. The bull elephants identified him as their target and they went and got him. No ifs, ands or buts.
To be sure, Kelly has terms and a price that will bring him to Baton Rouge. However, I don't think that there's a firm consensus regarding the "choice" among our movers and shakers, and I don't believe that a similar, absolute commitment to excellence is driving the process.
Given the way that our last "hire" melted down, I will be absolutely shocked if this ends well. Drink up, Shriners!
