12-12 in the WAC

Only one winning season out of three.

If someone had told you when both USF and UT jobs came open that one would get a coach coming off back to back conference titles and one would get a coach with a career losing record I doubt you would have picked it the way it worked out. Jimmy Sexton does amazing work.

Tech fired Bicknell for going 43-52 and he actually won the WAC their first year.

That's higher standards than atleast 1 SEC school.

5-19 at Iowa State gets you the Auburn job.

5-15 in the NFL and 7-6 in the SEC gets you the USC coaching job.

12-2 at LSU gets you the Michigan job...oh wait.

No his proven record as a DC at two major stops got him that job.

He is recognized as an up-and-coming coach, and I think Tenn showed some balls by giving him a shot. I think he will do well, and I wouldn't have any problem with him coming to LSU if or when Les is gone.

It's like the draft. They're hiring on potential.

I seem to recall a 23-11 record at a mid level program (Southern Miss) got someone a pretty good job at LSU - anyone recall how that turned out.

Yeah, I don't really understand it either. I'm just gonna roll with it and see what happens.

His willingness to be Pat Dye's puppet is what really got him the job.

The Tech team now has more talent on it than probably ever. I expect the new coach to come in a win. Dooley was a doing a very good job at Tech it just hadn't showed on the field yet.
