If we hired Blake baker people should genuinely just quit giving a frick. If LSU isn’t gonna take football seriously than neither should the fans. Can assuredly say there would be basically no excitement around the program if we decided to do that

Would confirm what many of us thought. This job is too big for Verge, and he was a lazy hire.

If we get Baker in a panic buy, we will know “I am the search” had too much of an impact on him.

I hope we get Kiffin, but anyone even remotely paying attention knows how flaky the dude is, if he doesn’t have a viable second option already lined up, he should be terminated post haste and a search for a real AD conducted.

If he lands him, AND if he can fix the MM situation, then his promotion will have been a good one, and I’ll begrudgingly give the Little General some props.

After the nil budget LSU is offering lane was leaked there is no way Blake Baker is the next head coach unless they think he's the guy. Multiple agents have contacted lsu on behalf of active coaches to express interest in the job if they are really going to put that much money into the roster.

I was concerned until I saw it was Moscona. He’s been high on Sumrall and Baker. Such a douche.

Just like Alleva in 2016, when he missed on Herman and hired O.

K..Great source...and tons of evidence. Honestly, quite comical in its lack of content, much like 98% of the rest of the posts in here lately.

Face facts: the only info you are willing to accept is “done deal!!!”. And, if it really was a done deal, there’d be no reason for you to be here screeching “at a lie! Ignore at crap an all”

You’re dealing with a petulant child who will change his mind and allegiance at the drop of a ball cap.

This would tell us Verge and company never actually conducted a search. Lane fell through and we didn’t consider any other candidates.

Typical LSU. They couldn't keep their powder dry and shot their wad on one guy. Truly f'ed if this falls thru. They better hope they could wrangler Dillingham or Sumrall .

Locked on LSU he claims he got a call thanksgiving morning where Kiffin may had started to get cold feet a little within the 24-36hrs. Says it went from LSU 90-10 to 55-45 LSU to stay at Ole Miss. Says if you're a LSU fan, pull for Miss.State to win for best outcomes.

He just says that stuff for clicks. He doesn’t know more than anyone else but the drama will keep people interested. It’s about numbers of viewers.

This is too convoluted for even Sexton to pull off. Kiffin should've realized OM was never going to let him Coach in the Playoff, no matter how many times he made sweet eyes at them. It would just make OM look like an even bigger loser than they'd already been made out to be.

He’s been really confident about LSU getting Lane.

I honestly think he made this whole story up about getting a call from an Ole Miss person to hedge his takes in the event he’s wrong. Plus putting out a video at this stage suggesting Lane is wavering is going to get more clicks when his last several have all had a similar tone.

But earlier in the week he said lane would be the next coach by next Monday. Matt is a clown

To be honest, I'm not watching that shitty eggbowl. If it actually takes a loss to state get him to LSU then frick him.

I hate that I was forced to learn so much about Ole Piss from this process and I've had to learn who their retard AD and chancellor was.

Yeah I assumed when it became nut cutting time he’d decide to stay. He probably understands the blow back he’s gonna get for leaving.

It’s a tough to land a coach who is in the playoffs. Timing and circumstances are the blame. LSU has done everything they could.

For those who may not know, this is the ESPN 104.5 program director

So this is just as reliable as all his other takes. He attempts to be able to say "I said back on ..." either way it happens.
