RA’d to move to book board. You’ve over exceeded your OT limit.

I loved the Old Man's War series and Lock In by Scalzi. I just finished Head On and it was garbage. Agent to the Stars was also garbage.

I enjoyed old Mans War also, have you read any of the Collapsing Empire series?

And if you want some great sci-fi read The Expanse. Haven’t seen the tv series they made from it but the books are fantastic.

I need to check out both the Collapsing Empire series and The Expanse.

I recently read American Gods by Neil Gaiman. It is more fantasy, but I really loved it. I heard the tv series was shite so I won't bother with it.

If anyone is into audio books, they did a full cast production of American Gods. Very well done. In terms of audio books, I recommend that and World War Z by Max Brooks, Mel Brooks's son. The audio book is great. The only thing in common the World War Z book & movie have is the title and that they involve zombies.

Orson Scott Card. The first book of his Ender's Game series (which is the most popular and had the terrible film adaptation) pales in comparison to the two or three books that follow imho. I think there are 12 books or something like that but the first couple were the ones that really stuck out to me.

I need to check out Neil Gaimen, I hear good things about them. Agreed on World War Z, the book and audio book are very different but both great.

Neil Gaimen

He's a fricking hack. Hate him.

Sea of Rust by Cargill is a pretty good read. Neat take on a Post-robopacalyptic Earth.

As much as I enjoyed American Gods I didn't like Norse Mythology. I think he wrote a short story that led to the movie Coraline, but don't quote me on that.
