Interested in your thoughts on the translation. Considering doing the same. I understand that it’s fairly modern and readable.
I have two Great Courses. Both by Prof, Vandiver and worth listening too.

It’s great. It’s way easier reading than I thought it was going to be. I had a few people be like “man that’s going to be a tough read” but it’s really not. Feels like you’re reading a history book, not really a poem. Kinda like The Silmarillion

I’ve been seeing more clients with OCD and high levels of executive dysfunction, so giving this a quick read.

No way to really prove it but I wonder if that’s a function of excess screen time and TikToks of those people with hyper clean homes and organizational methods

If someone has clinical OCD (to where it's diagnosable), it's typically beyond just enhancement by screen time (and we get into the whole obsessions vs compulsions, hoarding, etc. subcategories). It's almost always been lifelong symptoms as well.
Now if you if you want to say your scenario is increasing anxiety, depression (especially when folks are comparing themselves to these people), etc., absolutely.
It's also worth noting the OCD is a pretty common comorbidity with significant trauma-linked diagnoses (think childhood abuse, sexual abuse, etc). And I specialize in working with trauma, so I'm seeing a much higher percentage than population norms.
