I have a dozen more being delivered to the house today. I find them enjoyable but am probably more frustrated by most with some of the inconsistencies between the books and the show.

ETA: This was a very entertaining book. Anyone who loves New Orleans and a little side of Mafia should give it a read/listen. The narrator does a 10/10 job

If anyone wants me to stop posting these MSW books, just say so. I will. I’m not going to quit reading them but I will quit posting. I’ve enjoyed the easy reads (and love spending more time with Jessica, Seth, and Mort).

Interested in your thoughts on the translation. Considering doing the same. I understand that it’s fairly modern and readable.
I have two Great Courses. Both by Prof, Vandiver and worth listening too.

It’s great. It’s way easier reading than I thought it was going to be. I had a few people be like “man that’s going to be a tough read” but it’s really not. Feels like you’re reading a history book, not really a poem. Kinda like The Silmarillion
