I read Killing Floor by Lee Child last trip out on the road and thoroughly loved it, so I'm now reading Die Trying. I know there's a ton of books in the Jack Reacher series, so that'll be yet another one to throw in my to-read lists alongside Dresden, Koontz' Frankenstein, and a couple of others.

Struggling to read Augustine's Confessions

Read it again and again. You will get something new from it with every reading. It's why classical lit is generally so much better. It's why it has withstood the test of time. Also, if it wasn't a challenge, it wouldn't be worth reading in the first place.

The Sentinel by Andrew Child. Seems Lee has passed of the series to his younger brother.

Just finished The Book Of The Ancestor series by Mark Lawrence damn good fantasy series. Great characters, really strong plot(Assassin nuns basically), and Lawrence’s writing is great especially his inner dialogues.

River of Doubt- Candice Millard

Tremendous story of Theodore Roosevelt's last great adventure in the Amazon after his presidency. Absolutely incredible so far. Amazing feats and hell of struggle, personal and physical.

Teddy was a bad arse.

Not a bad father and son story to boot.
